Education moments with Lisa Hardin. A lot of people, myself once included, don't realize what a big role your digestive plays on your fertility.
If your digestive system isn't working properly, than that means that your body is being robbed of proper nutrients that are needed. And it's critical for women to make sure that their bodies have more than enough nutrients to not only get pregnant but to also be able to maintain a healthy pregnancy!
When your digestive system isn't functioning the way it's suppose to, it can also affect your periods, making them not come on time or sometimes not even at all, and it puts you at a greater risk for Crohn's and celiac disease. (both of these diseases make getting pregnant more difficult)
Some symptoms of having digestion problems are abdominal pain, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion and bloating just to name a few. And FYI just because you may experience some of these symptoms does not mean you have a digestive disorder. Always seek a professional opinion to rule anything out and remember the authority in Jesus Christ you have over your own body!
Last but not least there are some things you can do to make sure you keep your digestive tract functioning properly.
Start eating a high-fiber diet, limit fatty foods, eat more lemons, take a probiotic, exercise and most importantly stay hydrated!
You can also incorporate vitamins into your diets such as, vitamins D, B, C and A!! These are the most important ones for Digestive Health!
And if you really want to cleanse your system out, you can do a full body cleanse! But always make sure you follow all precautions and guidelines for any cleanse you may do.
